So is it CC0?
If yes, you should add the license into metadata for the asset packs:
"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art
Thank you for letting me know how yo add a liscense!
it is essentially CC0 although I am unsure if CC0 allows redistributions so I went with
Creative Commons Attribution_NoDerivatives v4.0 International
The only thing I don't want is people taking the asset and redistributing it as their own. I no the license I went with requires attribution but I won't ever do anything if a project doesn't give me credit.
1. CC0 - public domain (no restrictions at all)
2. The CC-BY-ND allows redistribution on their own. It is just prohibits changes and requires attribution. With this license I can download it and place on page page without any modifications but I just must give you credit... Are you sure it is exactly what you think?
https://creativecommons.org/about/cclicenses/
no I guess it is not what I thought. I am new to licenses, I don't mind if someone uses these assets in commercial projects like in a game or something. I just don't want someone redistributing them but I can't seem to find a license like that
So set license in metadata to all "rights reserved" and place in the description:
you can: .....
you can't: .....
